They were in an indent in a mountain, or so it seemed. The ground and sides of the indent were black and the island of land they were on was floating on magma. It appeared there was no way to get here unless you transported. The ground was craggy and warm under her shoes.
The island they were on was connected to a second island by a large extravagant stone bridge of brimstone. Lord did it stink, the brimstone. Before you got to the bridge there was a massive stone door with macabre scenes engraved in it. Two ... what appeared to be humans stood in front of the door.
They approached the stone door and as they got closer kiara could tell the things in front of the door were defiantely not human. They had black wings and... she glimpsed a bit of white fang. ~My God. They're ... Vampires.~
"Cease your approach, humans. Seeing as you are obviously not dead, we require the knowledge as to what your purpose is here. Or perhaps, you wish to ... cure your ailment..." The vampire on the left said, grinning as he said ailment. Kiara wanted to gulp.

Kiara jumped, almost singed by the flame. ~My god these people are insane!~
If it was even possible the vampires seemed to pale further. "No need for that, sir. We will open the gate immediately. (mutters) he almost made my heart start beating again... we need to come up with a new way to identify him than him yelling and bursting into flame."
Kiara almost laughed.
The gate swung open revealing a bridge in apparent disrepair. She really didn't want to cross that.

"I wasn't afraid of your father... or what's on the other side. I'm a fraid of the fuckin' bridge. How many years has that thing been here? It looks like it's been almost two millenia." Kiara said, eying the bridge. "And my name is Kiara, Kirra is in my mind. How would you like it if I called you Braeden?"
~Kiara, that bridge probably has been here for two millenia.~ Now she really didn't want to cross the bridge.

She looked behind her. The door was already closing. A chunk of bridge fell into the lava. She spun a round and pointed at him. "Ha! i knew that bridge wasn't safe. But anyways. Yeah, I want to see this fortress as well. Walking will be a pleasure."
They started walking up the black steps. There were about thirty or so leading up to this massive black castle-fortress deal with huge doors. There were... beings coming and going into and out of the fortress and then dissappearing, obviously on some errands. The bridge- she could hear -kept opening and then closing with a loud hollow boom. They reached the doors of the fortress and Lan opened the door, Kiara and Aiden following him in.
The first room they entered was massive, and strewn with macabre works of art and red and black lavish furniture. Like a sort of lobby. Funny, she hadn't pegged Satan as the Lobby type. The floor was black and white marble tiles in a checkered pattern. The walls had a wallpaper that from a distant looked completely red, but up close Kiara saw it was a lighter red with a dark red floral overlay. She hadn't pegged Satan as a flower type either. All of the wood of the furniture- tables, chairs, etc- was dark dark brown and appeared black. they weren't painted, it was charred. Kiara guessed the fabric was fire proof as well. The ceiling was domed and in the center of the dome was a huge chandelier made of black obsidian and a few diamonds. Nor had she pegged him as a chandelier type.
Lan motioned towards the large staircase leading up and then splitting in two curling directions, like horns. They waqlked up the steps and to the left. After they reached the top Kiara realized it didn't matter what direction they had gone, for they both led to this long horizontal hallway with frequent large windows on one side revealing dark blue skies and a large stone courtyard with a large fountain in the center, steam was coming off of it. The liquid inside appeared red but she assumed it was a trick of the light, the stone on the outside was black with many sharp points jutting out from all angles. There were countless doors on the other. They continued down the left hallway and turned right when they could, walking along the outside encirclement of the courtyard. The hallway continued in this fashion for about a quarter mile and then it turned again, this time right. About halfway down this hall the doors on the right stopped and an opening revealing more steps leading to a lavish door and two stone pillars with four-legged serpents winding up the column. When they reached the door they stopped and lan knocked for the first time entering the domain.
A deep booming voice spoke "Come in."
On the other side of the door was definately not what she had expected. She thought she would see this room with a massive brimstone throne and a lage red figure with horns sitting in it with an equally frightening female version of himself sitting on a throne beside him.
What she actually walked in upon wasn't a room at all. It was just a large opening and a brimston peninsula that lead up to a drop off. And after the drop off was a space large enough to hold Kiara's entire hometown, and down at the very bottom (about 50 feet below) was more lava.
But in the center of the space was a large brimston pillar sort of off to the side, as if it were expecting something massive to be in the middle, and on that pillar... was Malise. She was dressed in a long black gothic-style gown. It was the kind a queen might have worn. She had lacey sleeves and gloves and an obsidian and diamond crown and necklace. She was a queen.
Kiara was about to say something to Malise when the lava started boiling. Bits of lava flew up and splattered the wall and everything around. Out of the lave started rising something massive. A black spike arose out of the red liquid. as the moments seeped by a large throne appeared, obsidian as she had supposed, but instead of a red figure was a being with a completely black body and a skull as a head. It had horns. The body was difficult to look at, as if it weren't really there, or, more acurately, not a definate shape, as if light didn't exist anywhere in the void. in the opening of the skull-head you could see the same blacknss.
Lan and Aiden bowed, barely, and Kiara followed suit. "Greetings, Lan, my son."

*He was running low he and lan had been seperated for to long lan needed rest, they had been searching for kiara for a long time, he looks towards lan as lans wildish look fads into a childish look of aiden, Braedon frowned and snapped, they were combined*
Sorry father my identity is only half complete i am not fullymy own body but aiden has been doing his best to seperate for as long as possible"
***He suddenly howled in pain***
+He saw a vision of soeone it was kinda blurry probably becasue he was under the earth but he saw a faded figure in white, he couldn't tell if his vision was happening has happened or is happening, he started to shake uncontrollably, he falls to the ground holding his head, the figure is pointing at him and trying to show him sumtin and is pulling on his sleeve, then he lost conciousness+

Kiara started when Aiden yelled and then collapsed. "What's happening? She asked alloud, to no one in particular.
"Just wait, watch." Satan commanded. Kiara did. She watched awkwardly as he writhed in pain on the rocky floor. About a minute and a half later he fell still. The only sound in the thick, waiting silence was the bubbling lava. A drop of sweat trickled down Kiara's forehead as they waited.
When it was apparent he wasn't awakening, Satan commanded that Malise enter his dream. Malise bowed and closed her eyes. "XxXxXxXxX" The word she said was inaudible to the bystanders, or at least to Kiara and it would have been inaudible to Aiden as well, she supposed.

Malise's body quaked as she came back into consciousness. Her eyes opened, slow as a casket. "Master, The vision he is having is of another Entity. Aurelia. She is about to join the light side." Kiara's heart sunk to her toes. She was going to have to fight Elena soon.
Satan didn't appear to be pleased, go figure. "Where is she?"
Malise shrugged. "In the vision she was clinging to Lan's body, trying to pull him down. She was dressed in white. They didn't appear to be anywhere in particular. What should we do?"
Satan appeared to be thinking. "Well, we have to stop Elena from becoming light at all costs. The problem is, we don't know where she is now or how long it will be before she will reach servants of light. Hmmm."
A thought occurred to Kiara as she listened to this conversation. She had no idea how to address Satan though. she bowed. "Uhm... Satan, your...majesty?"
He bobbed his head. Kiara relaxed some. "Earlier this day as I was leaving the neatral forest I was opposed by Elena- Aurelia's host. To defend myself and ensure my departure to the Darkness I fired a projectile spell, a spell attached to an arrow, of course, and... I blocked Elena's mind. She won't be active again for another couple of weeks." She finished nervously, embarrassed of her long seemingly overly-long narrative.
The vibe in the room changed instantly though. Malise's gaze brightened with a hidden light behind them flaring to life, and Satan's mood seemed to shift dramatically. Aiden yawned langoriously, stretching. No one noticed his awakening. "This is indeed favorable news, I bid the congratulations, Kiara." She bowed awkwardly.
Satan looked at Malise/Maleah/Natas and Aiden/Lan/Braeden respectively. "I will discuss the tidings Kiara and Aiden bring us of Kiara's circumstances with my council tomorrow morning. For this evening I wll provide room and sustinance as we await the hearing to both one Kiara Kuro and one Aiden Murrey, and all of their accomplices. As for now, I grant you minimum access freedom to rome around my fortress and some of the undercity as long as Lan accompanies you. Kiara, you will have room 662, Kirra, assuming you can seperate, you can right?" Kiara nodded. "Good, Kirra will have room 663. Braeden will have room 664, Aiden, room 665, and Lan, my son, room 666. I trust you all will have a good, long stay. You are dismissed."
Kiara and Aiden & co. departed the room to the sound of gurgling lava.

***Aiden walked scratching his head lightly, he dowsn't look so well, he looks kinda pale, his hair all messed up, and his eyes were no one specifi color, if they ran into to anyone he and lan and braeon could do they nothing they were drained, he snapped to seperate and lan and breadon cameout and went to there rooms they also didn't look too good, as for braedon there was no fire and his hair was not standing up as it usually did, and lans outlandish looks were gone, he wasn't even talking, none of them were, its as if they were heaing to a morge or a funeral or sumtin aiden looked at kirra and smiled, well tried at least then went into his roo and hand lil to no rest, all he could think about was hjow his friends were doing, especially (liz) he hasn't seen her in soooo long, he layed in the bed remembering when it was jus he and mandy at schoolwith there demons, he missed it, he started to cry and eventually fell off into sleep.
Lan was in his room snoozing off about 48 hourshaving no specifi dream jus thought, well he was onversing in his dreams with his mother anyway but still got alot of rest
Braedon didn't do one specific thing he jus ran around theroom a lil then laid down and looked at the ceiling yawning he finally fellin to sleep and haveing a beautiful dream of a huge fire***

Kiara smiled back aat her exhausted looking friend and went into her own room after seperating from Kirra. Kirra looked almost nothing like Kiara. Kirra had long lilac hair and violet eyes, with no pupil. Her hair wasn't held back by anything and thus hung all around her face, hiding her eyes somewhat. Kiara had short hair, about shoulder length, that was parted to the side and sort of hung over her right eye in this swoosh motion, the ends flipping out. Her eyes were blue along the outside and towards her pupil, gold, so her eyes appeared greenish. The only thinkg alike in their appearance was their height. Kiara nodded to Kirra before departing to her room. Her room was an average one, she supposed. A full bed with a red comforter. The walls were black with a crimson floral pattern overlayed, and white trim. The plush carpet was blood red. Highly desirable. Off of the main bedroom was a living area with a white leather sofa facing a lavish fireplace and behind the sofa was a dining area with a table built for about four, a few cabinets and a stove and fridge. The fridge contained only a pitcher of ice water.
Kiara sat staring at the fire for a very long time, wondering what Satan would decide, and then how she was going to adjust to this lifestyle, and when her friends- her other friends -would arrive. She thought back to a long time ago, before she had left home and before her family... She felt tears on the inside of her eyes, but she forced them back with practiced will. Staring at the fire and laying on the sofa she fell asleep. If she dreamt, she didn't remember them.
Kirra had a room identical to Kiara's, with large windows off of the living area that revealed a long fall into magma. She stared out of that window for a long while, with no particular thoughts. After an hour or two she crawled into her huge bed and drifted easily to sleep. She dreamt of flying that night. She was flying over all the places she had known before her death- centuries ago. She was flying over everyone she knew and then all of a sudden her world stopped and she was flying over Kiara's world, before she knew who Kirra was. She saw all of Kiara's friends and family and aquiantances and she realized how alike her and Kiara's lives were. Her dream ended as the earth below became sea for as far as she could see. The moon was rising in front of her.

Kiara awoke in her bed after about 6 hours of sleep and decided to stay in her room for a while longer, since all of Aiden's company seemed tired beyond their wits. She went to the dresser beside her bed, trying to remember when she had transferred from the couch to the bed and changed into pajamas. When she opened the dresser it was stocked full with clothes, and there was a note lying on them. It read,
"Kiara,
Feel free to wear any of these clothes,we have decided that you are an acceptable asset to the darkness. We await yourreturn to the palace. You may rest a day but come back any time after that.
-Natas and Malise"
Kiara read the note twice before she fully comprehended what that meant. "I'm," she muttered, "I'm ... working for Satan.. Oh God, I can't, I don't want to go to hell! I need to get out of here." She changed into one of the outfits in the dresser without fully noticing what she was putting on, and only because she couldn't find her own clothes.
She almost ran out of her room, sending Kirra a mental message, and it appeared she was having the same thoughts. As she exited her room she nearly ran into Aiden, about to knock on her door. She stopped. "I heard you," he said, his tone accusing.
Her brow furrowed, and then she sighed and took a step back into her room, leaving the door open for him as she walked back a few more steps, not wanting to discuss that topic in the hall for anyone to hear.

Kiara didn't supply him an excuse, nor did she apologize. She waited, arms crossed, eyes on the ground, for whatever he was about to throw her way. "What the fuck are you thinking?" Was the first thing he said to her. She almost flinched. "What the-- I mean, I go out on a limb for you-- try to get you accepted into our world, and now you want to go back on it? Back on your word to Him? Well, isn't that just like the Kirra I used to know. You're exactly the same."
Her eyes rapidly lifted to meet his in a mutual glare. "Who is this talking now? Lan? Braeden? It sure the hell isn't Aiden, my old friend, because at least he knew my god damned name!" Her arms, which had been tightly crossed across her chest had begun flailing dramatically, for emphasis. "The old Kirra you knew. Bah! Because you knew me so well. Well it sure shows now, how well you knew me. Knew me enough to know my name then. I guess I just wasn't that damned memorable, now, was I?"
He didn't so much as blink. "Are you finished yet? You always were quite the drama queen."
"Oh, what the hell do you know?" She shot at him, furious now. "You were the one throwing fake temper tantrums, and pretending you had a demon insi-" she gasped, realizing what she had been about to say like it had scorched her mouth.
He looked sad and angry. "Pretending I had a demon inside me." He said, incredulous. "Ha. That is always what you guys used to say, isn't it? That I had to stop acting. That you knew I wasn't really possessed." He gave a bitter half-laugh. "It seems your not the only one who wasn't known so well."
She looked at the ground again. "I don't think any of us really knew each other then."
The silence was deepening in the room. All the years of bitterness, all of the bottled-up resentment was all out in the open, and it was filling the room like metaphysical water. "I think you'd better go." She said.
He looked up at her, surprised. "You aren't going to try and leave?"
She shook her head. "No," she said. "I think I need to get back in touch with my friends, the ones I haven't talked to in a long time, and to do that I need to be here." She smiled sadly, bitterly. "I have some thinking to do; please leave."
The door clicked before she realized he had begun to move, and like that, she was alone again.

The life rushed out of her like sand in a sieve as she collapsed to a sitting position onto the bed-- no, it was her bed now. Her eyes dimmedas if two lamps had been blown out, as she thought about her apparent future. Kiara Kuro; servant of the devil. Who would've thought? Kiara Kuro, who once claimed she would fight evil when she grew up, even if she had to sacrifice her own life.
Life just wasn't when it was suposed to be, sometimes.
